Perfect notion about the contrasts, the artist clearly shows amazing ability to represent the scattering of light throughout the fur and environment surrounding the dog. The hue of colors is very faithful to the original picture and to what you might expect from reality itself, perfectly executed with superb technique, almost indistinguishable from a real picture and photorealistic. I am going to try to suggest this to a DD. There's a certain sharpness to the edges of the fur and whiskers which add an extra (if at all possible to add even more quality to what is nearly perfect) reality effect to it, I absolutely love this and it's definitely going into my favorites and never getting out of it!
OMG....frankly this is brilliant. At first I thought it was just a photo and then I saw the signature and zoomed in and was blown away. Brilliant job keep it up please. I do recommend that you work on the details of the eyes more, but you did excellently with the fur details. It's honestly hard to tell that this was a drawing. It was a smart idea to blur the background so that the attention goes towards the dog. Its interesting what you did with the dog's left I, I haven't seen the dog you drew in person but that doesn't quite look right. Again, great job.
